Umeed Foundation had organised an Educational tour to Science City, Kolkata for the children of various NGO's. 27 children and 11 teachers from 2 NGOS – Santoshpur Sukantamela Sab Peyechir Asar (Budge Budge) and Aksharaa Foundation (Kaikhali) accompanied Umeed Foundation to Science City. Their excitement was beyond measure as they stepped into the world of Science, Discovery & Wonder. Two most fascinating experiences for the children was the journey through the Geological Timeline of Life on Earth and journey through Space. The visit made possible by Umeed Foundation was not just an Educational tour but also an opportunity for these children to explore, learn & experience the wonders of Science & Nature for the first time in their life.
